In the end, you take your self-carved figure home with you – and the understanding of how you can independently implement your own ideas in wood in the future.
This course focuses on independently developing and carving your own wooden figure. Step by step, we'll show you how to transform your initial idea into a coherent and successful piece – explained calmly and clearly.
Together we'll analyze basic forms, make deliberate cuts, and selectively bring out form and character. We'll deepen your knowledge of figure carving techniques and show you how to plan your own process.
This course is for advanced students and not suitable for absolute beginners. You should have already carved a figure and be comfortable using a carving knife. The focus is on understanding how to plan and develop your own figures and independently achieve the finished result.
