In this introductory course, you'll immerse yourself in the world of woodcarving. You'll learn how to create your own small figure from a piece of wood using simple tools – cut by cut, and no prior experience necessary. Whether animal, human, or fantastical form: We'll show you techniques, give you design tips, and guide you through the creative process. The focus isn't on achieving a perfect result, but rather on the conscious act of creation – and the joy of working with your own hands. What you can expect: – Introduction to tools, materials & safety – Fundamentals of three-dimensional woodworking – Carving & shaping your first figure – Small group with individual guidance Duration: approx. 4 hours Number of participants: max. 5 people Location: Alte Wagnerei, Gschwandt Cost: €65 (incl. wood & tool use) Ideal for anyone looking for a mindful introduction to woodcarving – or simply wanting to create something new with their hands.
